Designer Custom Source (DCS) is as its tagline indicates: “A Workroom to the Trade.” DCS is an online workroom and trade name of Online Commerce Group (OCG), offering a vast product offering and a custom touch to every consumer experience. I created and helped cultivate DSC’s branding across all touch points as an in-house graphic designer on a cross-functional team.

Working independently after an initial client meeting, for the most part, works. However, on occasion, clients do not always like the results. Missing the mark costs us both time and money. To avoid that, Stylescapes (a rapid design prototyping tool) provides a highly curated collection of “found” images from the Internet to give you a high-fidelity glimpse into the direction being taken. This way, if the mark is missed early, we’ll know. And adjustments will take place before committing to the design phase. Note that a stylescape is merely a broad compass for a brand, a visual “true north” per se — NOT your final branded identity design.
This stylescape was created after leaving OCG. It’s utilized here to give a concise overview of aestheics.
